Molly

The bottom deciduous (baby) tooth is hitting the palate (roof of the mouth) each time she tries to close her mouth.

Note the holes made in the palate by the bottom decidous canine teeth contacting the palate.

Intra oral radiographs are always obtained prior to any extractions. Note the adult teeth in the jaw that haven't erupted yet.

Extracting Molly's deciduous (baby) teeth allowed her jaws to continue to grow and her permanent teeth to erupt with normal occlusion. Molly now has a pain free "bite".
