Helen M. Evans, DVM

Dr. EvansDr. Evans grew up on a small farm in Western New York.  She graduated in 2004 from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science.  She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2008 from Ross University, graduating 2nd in her class.  She has been practicing veterinary medicine in the Phoenix area since she came here in 2008.

Dr. Evans’ medical philosophy emphasizes client communication and efficient diagnosis, coupled with top-notch medicine and pain management strategies.  She loves working closely with clients to ensure the best possible outcome for pets and owners alike.

Dr. Evans’ professional interests include Internal Medicine, Feline Medicine, Dermatology, Exotics, Parasitology, Pain Management, and Surgery.

In her spare time, Dr. Evans enjoys hiking, canyoneering, camping, fishing, scuba diving, and knitting/crocheting.  She shares her home with her husband Steve and their five pets: Sissy, a mixed breed dog, Rita and Tess, two very spoiled cats, Gromit the gerbil, and a leopard gecko named Orca.
