CONTINUING EDUCATION

The Arizona Academy of Veterinary Practice, established in 1971, provides an avenue for veterinary professionals to demonstrate their commitment to veterinary science and the pursuit of excellence. Academy members are held in high esteem. Membership symbolizes that veterinary professionals have not only fulfilled their state licensing requirements of 10 hours of continuing education (CE) every year, but have completed an additional series of learning experiences of approximately 50 hours of continuing education annually. This then, provides a most comprehensive grasp of contemporary issues and expands their knowledge of the latest scientific studies and advances in diagnostic and treatment technology. Always setting a high standard for herself and her staff, Dr. Nossaman attends over 100 hours of continuing education annually.

According to the Arizona State Veterinary Medical Examining Board and the Arizona Veterinary Medical Association, there are currently over 1,800 licensed veterinarians in the state of Arizona and only 46 are a member of the Arizona Academy of Veterinary Practice!
