Aimee C. Smart, DVM
Dr. Smart is originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She graduated in 1993 from Arizona State University with a double major, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science. She obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University in 2003 and promptly moved back to Arizona to work as a small animal practitioner.
Dr. Smart's favorite part of being your veterinarian is strengthening the bond between pets and their parents and preserving quality of life. She feels communication and education on a pet’s specific needs are crucial in achieving these goals.
Dr. Smart's professional interests include Feline Medicine, Internal Medicine, Dermatology and Arthritis Management. Past time activities include: movies, photography, home improvement projects and spending time with friends. Recently married, she shares her home with her husband, James and their five pets: Pilot the Schnoodle, Dexter the Border collie and three cats, Charlie, Little Mr. and Dodger.
